Price

Both of these platforms are among the most affordable on the market right now. 

Innago is completely free for landlords. This means you have access to every feature the software has to offer regardless of how many properties you manage, all without having to pay anything. 

Innago makes its money by charging tenants small fees for select services. When a tenant makes a rent payment using ACH, for example, they’re charged an extra $2 fee. When they pay using card, this fee become 2.75%. Applicants are charged $30 for tenant screening reports containing a credit and criminal check or $35 when the report also contains an eviction check. Lastly, tenants can purchase individually priced renters insurance policies on the platform.

Landlord Studio has two pricing models. Like Innago, Landlord Studio’s Go package is free for landlords. The Go package is reserved for landlords with three properties or less, and it offers only a handful of features. The Pro package is for landlords with more than three properties and contains all the features the platform has to offer. The Pro package is priced at $12 per month.

Features

Even though Landlord Studio’s Go plan and Innago are both free, it’s important to note that Landlord Studio is quite limited compared to Innago. Landlord Studio’s Go plan doesn’t offer electronic signatures, tenant communication tools, renters insurance, data exports, or advanced reporting. The Pro plan offers data exports and advanced reporting, but it doesn’t add much else beyond that.

Innago, on the other hand, offers all of these features for free. Not only does Innago offer a wider variety of features than Landlord Studio, but they’re also rated higher.

Innago has higher ratings than Landlord studio on review sites across the board. On Capterra, Innago received a 4.8 out of 5-star rating for its features, while Landlord Studio received 4.6 stars. 

Customer Support

Innago and Landlord studio both offer email and phone support. To take it a step further, Innago assigns every account with a specific representative for personalized service. During business hours, you can reach your representative, and after hours, you’ll still almost always be able to reach someone. If you don’t get ahold of someone immediately, they’ll always call or email you back within a couple of hours.

Innago and Landlord Studio both put together webinars to help walk new customers through the platform, and they also offer educational articles on their websites. Furthermore, Innago offers one-on-one demos by request.

Overall, Innago earned 4.9 out of 5 stars on Capterra for its customer support, while Landlord studio earned a 4.8.

Interface

Both platforms are known for having easy-to-use and intuitive interfaces. On Capterra, Innago scored a 4.8 out of 5 for ease of use, barely beating Landlord Studio’s 4.7 out of 5.

Reviews for Landlord Studio talk about how simple and clean the Landlord Studio layout is. Likewise, reviews for Innago discuss the user-friendly and easily navigable interface. In terms of simplicity, it’s a toss-up between both platforms.

Conclusion

Innago and Landlord Studio are both very highly regarded platforms. On Capterra, 97.4% of reviewers for Innago said they were likely to recommend the platform. For Landlord Studio, this number was 98.8%. As shown in this article, both platforms received high metrics in every category.
