The fluffy brow trend is the beauty trend that I love most. How do I get that full-brow look with my own brows? The answer is eyebrow lamination. Although I have talked about it a lot on Instagram, there were so many questions about the process that I decided to write a blog post.
Brow lamination or an eyebrow perm is very popular in today’s beauty industry. It’s probably the most popular treatment in salons over the past few years, right next to a lift of the lashes. Lamination is not nearly as painful as microblading and gives you the appearance of thicker eyebrows for a fraction of the cost.
What Is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is a chemical procedure that lifts your eyebrow hairs to give you a fuller look. It is basically a perm for your little eyebrows. The device doesn’t curl hair, but it manages your hair and gives you more texture and volume.
During the treatment, a solution is applied to the brows, which relaxes the hair’s natural texture and allows the esthetician to reshape and set the brows. The solution is then neutralized and a nourishing serum is applied to condition the hair. The result is a fuller, fluffier, and more defined brow shape that can last for up to six weeks.
Brow lamination isn’t like microblading which involves tattooing more brows onto your skin.
The results of brow lamination are durable if you take care of it properly.
Lamination simply adds volume to the hair that you already have. It also covers any gaps where it doesn’t grow. It’s natural-looking, easy to maintain, and looks great.
