Here are the top 2 Australian Players who performed exceptionally well for the Royal Challenger Bangalore.

1 Glenn Maxwell

Glenn James Maxwell, an Australian professional cricketer who was born on October 14, 1988, competes for Australia in Test matches as well as One Day International and Twenty20 International competitions. All-rounder Maxwell bowls off break and bats right-handed.

In domestic cricket in Australia, he plays for Victoria and Melbourne Stars.

In March 2022, Maxwell wed Vini Raman, his longtime partner. Glenn Maxwell and Glenn Maxwell wife got married in traditional Indian style.

Did Maxwell initially fail at the IPL?

He was kept on by Kings XI Punjab for the 2015 IPL Season, however after collecting 145 runs in 11 games at an average of 13.18, he lost his spot in the team after failing to impress with a top score of 43.

For Kings, Maxwell had a second dismal IPL season in 2016, and Delhi acquired him in time for the 2018 season. He once again had a bad season, scoring 142 runs at an average of 14. He also failed to reach 50 runs.

Maxwell was the target of a bidding battle between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in the 2020 IPL auction before being purchased by Kings for the second-highest price.

Did Maxwell change after he was brought in by RCB?

Coming to RCB was a career turner for Maxwell. Maxwell started to hit big runs and ended his first season with RCB has the highest run scorer for the team.

In the next season, Glenn Maxwell started the season by a great fielding display and a run out. He continued his red hot form in 2022 and is all set to be one of the best batsman for the team in 2023 as well.

2 Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Aaron Starc, an Australian cricketer who represents both New South Wales and the national side of his country, was born on January 30, 1990.

Starc represents Australia in all three of the major international cricket competitions: Test cricket, One Day Internationals (ODI), and Twenty20 Internationals.

He is a left-arm fast bowler and a middle order left-handed batsman. He is recognised as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of the limited overs format and was the best bowler in ODI cricket in 2015.

Starc proposed to fellow Australian player Alyssa Healy in 2015, and the two were wed on April 15, 2016. Only the third married pair to play Test cricket together is Starc and Healy.

Was Mitchell Starc the best bowler for RCB?

The Royal Challengers Bangalore signed Starc in 2014 so that he could participate in the IPL. Glen Maxwell and Wriddhiman Saha were both out during a game against Kings XI Punjab thanks to two diving catches made by Starc close to the boundary.

Starc caught these balls using a different technique than the majority of Australian players, pointing his fingertips below instead of upward.

Starc’s 2015 season debut was postponed because of a knee ailment that kept him in Australia. Bangalore was at the bottom of the IPL standings prior to Starc’s comeback, but after his return, he grabbed control of Bangalore’s bowling and helped the team turn things around.

In the following seven games, Royal Challengers Bangalore only suffered one defeat, and Starc ended the competition with 20 wickets.
