What is the best way to clean crocs?
There are a few different options I have found online, before start I highly suggest you to buy charms for crocs online from litita.
Wash with dry shampoo
What is dry shampoo? Dried plant based ingredients are put in a spray bottle.
Mix equal parts corn starch and water and apply liberally to your crocs and hands before getting into the shower. Shower off then wait 10 minutes to ensure the corn starch/water mixture evaporates. Then get into the shower. Shave your crocs and hair and rinse with clean water. Wipe off with a microfiber towel.
Sounds gross, doesn’t it?
Well, let’s put it this way…the vinegar smell is what you notice when you spray the corn starch on your crocs, but the other ingredients (like mustard) smell nice. Personally, I don’t mind them.
How to hand wash your Crocs
You don’t want to put them in the dishwasher if you plan on wearing them to work. In fact, I don’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher, let alone bleach them. Here’s why:
First off, your Crocs are a one of a kind pair of shoes. Not only is the sole supposed to be removable, but Crocs use a non-stick material that makes them nearly indestructible. So, not only should they be in your everyday shoes, they should not be in the dishwasher. You can save them from staining by hand washing them as directed.
Once they’re clean, I spray them with baking soda to get rid of the smell. You can always get baking soda at any home improvement store for free. Baking soda works great in the dishwasher as it will work with any kind of detergent.
You can remove the inside lining of your fur-lined Crocs
If you’re not afraid of scouring a filthy shoe with cleaning solution, you can remove the inside lining from your furry-lined Crocs. When the lining is removed, you can wash the shoe on the kitchen sink, under running water.

Yes, the slats in the Crocs can’t be cleaned by hand and they’re a pain to get inside, but they can easily be cleaned with soap and water. Just scrub the surface with a dish towel until it feels squeaky clean. The only way to get inside is by pulling on a hole in the middle and prizing it apart with a pair of pliers.
You can wash your fur-lined Crocs
To keep the black fur lining of my son’s Crocs (and to protect them from accidents in the yard, dirt and puddles) I use a Fels Naptha Shampoo, diluted with a tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent and left to sit for ten minutes. The shampoo is really thin and spreads around the shoes. Just a squeeze of water gets all the gunk out. Then just wipe off the microfibre cuffs with a soft brush.
You can clean your Crocs in the dishwasher
If you’re thinking you can’t use a dishwasher on Crocs then think again. They’re washable and dryable. Just load them in the machine along with your clothes, the detergent and a small amount of clean water. Let it work while you finish your dishes.
