Gaining a seat in IIT is the dream of every engineering aspirant. Students are required to crack the JEE Main exam to get into an IIT. Since a huge number of students appear for this exam, the competition is quite high. The JEE Main 2022 is expected to be conducted in June and July. Earlier it was supposed to be conducted in April and May. As per the recent notification of the National Testing Agency, it is rescheduled to June and July.
The exam conducting agency will release the admit card at least one week before the exam. NTA will release it on their official website. Students can download the JEE main admit card from the website using the login credentials. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination centre. Those who do not produce the admit card will not be allowed to write the exam.
Steps to Download Admit Card
Following are the steps to download the admit card.
- Visit jeemain.nic.in
- Click on the “download admit card link”.
- Enter your application number, date of birth, and security pin (password).
- Admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the admit card and take a print out for future references.
The admit card will contain details like the name of the candidate, application number, roll number, course name, father’s name, gender, date of birth, exam date, time etc. Students should verify all the details on the admit card. If any errors are found in the JEE Main admit card, inform NTA and get it corrected as early as possible. The printout should be on A4 size paper.
Things To Remember
In 2022, admit card will be issued separately for the two sessions. Those who have any mistakes in the application form or those who do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will not receive the admit card. So, students are required to check the eligibility criteria given by the official exam conducting authority. If anyone has forgotten their password or application number, they can use the ‘I can’t access my account’ option on the official website and do the needful. Students should never forget to carry the admit card to the exam hall.
JEE Main 2022 Result
Once the JEE Main exam is over, the result will be announced within one or two weeks. Students can view the JEE Main result on the official website. The results are published via online mode only. No physical copies will be sent to the students. It is necessary to login to the website using the login credentials to view the result.
